This summer, NYLaughs is popping up all over NYC—taking stand-up where it rarely dares to tread: parks, rooftops and all the public spaces where New Yorkers pretend they’re not laughing. For over a decade, with the help of public support, NYLaughs has brought joy for free to the people while uplifting stand-up as a civic art form and a uniquely powerful NYC cultural asset—with appearances from comedy’s brightest like Hannibal Buress, Michael Che, Roy Wood Jr., and more along the way.
Now? We’re beyond thrilled to land at Lincoln Center with three unforgettable shows that celebrate the power, punch, and poetry of women’s voices—plus one sizzling night of Brazilian and South American brilliance. We kick it all off with our Juneteenth celebration, honoring not only freedom and Black joy, but also the 50th anniversary of Saturday Night Live and one incredible woman who helped shape that legendary comedy institution. Appearing is former SNL writer Vannessa Jackson along with Chloé Hilliard, Katie Boyle Paris Sashay and more TBA!

Vannessa Jackson
Vannessa Jackson is a stand-up comedian and TV writer whose credits include Saturday Night Live (Seasons 47–49), A Black Lady Sketch Show, and A Little Late with Lilly Singh. She got her start as a writing apprentice on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and previously wrote for E! and the iconic Tiger Beat magazine. Originally from L.A., she now brings her sharp wit and celeb-savvy humor to New York stages and writers’ rooms.

Paris Sashay
Paris Sashay is a powerhouse comedienne, actor, and producer hailing from Washington, DC. With the command of a seasoned storyteller, she turns even the most everyday moments into epic, laugh-out-loud adventures. Her infectious laugh, razor-sharp wit, and unmistakable style have won hearts across the country. From the Howard Theatre and The Kennedy Center to The Comedy Store, Caroline’s on Broadway, and BET, Paris has left her mark. She made a triumphant debut at the iconic DC Improv, and there’s no slowing her rise—she’s undeniably one of the funniest, fiercest voices on the scene today.

Chloé Hilliard
Chloé Hilliard is a stand-up comedian, TV writer, and award-winning author known for her sharp takes on culture, politics, and identity. She’s appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Last Comic Standing, This Week at the Comedy Cellar, and Wilmore, where she was also a staff writer. Chloé is a writer and producer on HBO’s Emmy-winning A Black Lady Sketch Show, and her debut book Fck Your Diet* was named Best Comedy Book of 2020 by the African American Literary Awards
