NYLaughs is excited to be back this summer with its highly anticipated series of free comedy performances, offering New Yorkers a much-needed laughter intervention! NYLaughs is thrilled to join forces with Lincoln Center for it’s summer programming for our fourth year, a celebration of collaboration and giving back to the community. Our calendar has expanded to 8 nights.  Now New Yorkers have a place to laugh every Wednesday at 8pm.  Best of all, admission to all shows is free!

This remarkable program is made possible by the generous support of various organizations. Lineup

Simeon Goodson Host

Simeon “Sim” Goodson is a New Yorker born and raised from Brooklyn, NY.  Beginning his career in New York City in 2004, he has since relocated numerous times around the world, performing and producing in a variety of countries and venues. These include Caroline’s on Broadway in Times Square, The Burj Khalifa in Dubai, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. In addition, he has performed across the United States with the “Comedy’s Best Kept Secret Tour” and as the opening act on the Hannibal Burress “Comedy Camisado Tour”. In August 2015, Simeon moved with his family to the United Arab Emirates. Diving head first into the local comedy scene, he was the winner of the Dubai Comedy Festival’s Beat the Gong contest that year and in 2017 filmed for Comedy Central Arabia’s Stand Up al Wagif Seasons 2 & 3. In 2018, Simeon moved to Wuxi, China where he continued to perform on an international level, visiting numerous Chinese cities including Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Xiamen and Wuhan. Returning to New York City in 2021, Simeon was featured on That Damn Michael Che Season 2 (HBO Max) and is currently a regular host and performer at The Comedy Cellar.



Matt Goldich

Matt Goldich is a stand-up comedian who has appeared on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Comedy Central’s @midnight, and Comedy Central’s Premium Blend. He is currently a staff writer for Late Night with Seth Meyers. He has also written for the Jeselnik Offensive, the Emmy Awards, Ellen, and the Late Show with David Letterman. He’s been a consultant for the MTV Movie Awards. He performs stand-up regularly in New York and Los Angeles and has also performed at clubs and colleges around the country. He has also appeared at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, Oregon. He has won two Daytime Emmy Awards.



Erin Jackson

Erin Jackson is one of the fastest-rising comedians in New York City. She works nightly in the city’s top comedy clubs and made her Netflix debut on Season 2 of Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready. She currently writes for the hit Netflix show, The Upshaws, and has appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, CONAN, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Last Comic Standing. Erin co-hosted three seasons of Exhale, a panel talk series on the ASPiRE television network, and has been a panelist on sports and pop-culture programs on MSNBC, NFL Network and VH-1. Her comedy album, Grudgery, debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes comedy charts.

Nori Reed

Nori Reed is a renowned comedian, writer, and actress based in Los Angeles, originally from Christian County, Kentucky. Starting her career in the Bay Area, she was named ‘Oakland’s Next Great Comedian’ by SF Weekly. Nori wrote for seasons five and six of Disney’s “Raven’s Home,” where she created Disney Channel’s first-ever live-action trans character, earning GLAAD and Emmy award nominations. She was featured in New York Magazine as one of Vulture’s “Comedians You Should Know and Will Know in 2021.” Her stand-up has been showcased by Showtime, HBO Max, and at festivals such as Netflix Is A Joke Festival, Comedy Central’s Clusterfest, SF Sketchfest, and Outside Lands. Nori’s writing has appeared in Vogue Magazine, and she contributed to Audible’s scripted series “Hot White Heist” produced by Broadway Video and Alan Cumming.

Liza Treyger

Liza Treyger is a stand-up comic who was most recently seen recurring in the Netflix series Survival of the Thickest. Liza most proud is that she regularly performs at The Comedy Cellar in New York and The Comedy Store in California. She has also appeared in Jordan Peele’s Nope, the Judd Apatow movie, The King of Staten Island, and HBO’s Pause With Sam Jay. Liza has Netflix and Comedy Central half hour specials and has appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Chelsea Lately, @Midnight, Lights Out with David Spade, This is Not Happening, Horace and Pete, and many more fun programs! Liza was featured on Variety’s 2017 TOP 10 COMICS TO WATCH list.
